Ice Plant Cruisers gear up for car show in Greensboro
GREENSBORO – The Ice Plant Cruisers in Greensboro are gearing up for the sixth annual car and truck show. The show will be held on Saturday, July 20, at the Ice Plant Restaurant and Bar in Greensboro. The registration fee is $8 per vehicle. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 1 p.m.
This year the Ice Plant Cruisers have teamed up with the American Cancer Society to raise funds for the organization. Judging will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Only vehicles 1997 and older will be judged. The awards presentation will be held at 5 p.m. There will be 50 trophies awarded for the top classic cars and trucks. Dash plaques and goody bags will be given to the first 100 entries. Other activities include the Nuff Said performing at 2 p.m. and a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
