2 min read

Premiere Entertainment and the Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) Fayette will present “Bake-Off,” a murder-mystery dinner theater, on Friday, May 17. The show will be held at Becker’s Shadyside Inn, 999 N. Gallatin Ave. extension, Uniontown.

Dinner choices include prime rib, chicken cordon bleu or orange roughy.

Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar and Chinese auction followed by dinner that will be served at 6:30 p.m.

During the event, ARC Fayette will sponsor a “Bake-Off” of its own with an assortment of baked goods for sale.

The cost for the murder-mystery dinner is $40 per person. All proceeds will benefit Families Supporting Themselves, a program of ARC Fayette.

Families Supporting Themselves is a grant-funded program supported by the Children’s Trust Fund.

This voluntary program serves to provide support and training to families whose parents have a cognitive, physical or mental health disability and whose children may be at risk for out of home placement. The program’s purpose is to provide safe and healthy home environments for children and their families while increasing confidence in parents’ abilities to care for their children, thus preventing the need for ongoing involvement with Children and Youth Services.
