Quilt show slated CUMBERLAND, Md. – Quilters from the four-state area will be featured in the Schoolhouse Quilters’ 23 annual quilt show, which will be held Friday through Sunday, June 14-16, at the Allegheny County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, Md.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Admission is $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
More than 300 quilts will be showcased from quilters in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia.
Quilts will be accepted on Wednesday, June 12, from noon to 5 p.m. only.
Other activities include a silent auction of miniature quilts, door prizes each hour, quilt appraisals, demonstrations, a gift boutique, an opportunity quilt, the Hoffman Challenge Exhibit, a featured quilter, the American Spirit Gathering display, vendors and the 2001 People’s Choice Quilt.
