Point Marion Progress Club to sponsor arts, crafts show
POINT MARION – The 25th annual Point Marion Progress Club’s Arts and Crafts Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Point Marion Fire Hall on Cheat Street. A mission-style light walnut cabinet handcrafted by Robert Clay, owner of the County Wishes shop in New Geneva, will be the item that will be raffled off during the event. The $1 ticket for this raffle may be obtained from any Progress Club member and will also be available for purchase in the lobby at the day of the craft show.
The winning ticket will be drawn at the conclusion of the one-day show at 6 p.m. The winner need not be present.
A complimentary door prize ticket will be given to each person as they enter the show. The ticket will be used to the hourly drawings for items donated by the exhibitors. All proceeds benefit local civic projects and organizations in the Point Marion area.
The Point Marion Arts and Craft Show is one of the longest-running annual craft shows in the area. There is no admission charge, and there is ample free parking.
Lunch, as well as baked goods, will be available during the show. For more information, call Diane at 724-725-5457.
