Country inns to open doors for holiday tours
The Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau (LHVB) invites the public to experience the holiday season with a Bed and Breakfast Holiday Open House Tour, which will take place Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8. Nineteen innkeepers located throughout the Laurel Highlands region are participating on the tour.
They have “decked their halls” and are eager to share their B&Bs and holiday spirit.
This generous spirit includes more than $1,000 in overnight stays and gift certificates to be given away during the weekend.
Tickets for the self-guided tour are $10 per person, which includes admittance to all B&Bs. The tickets can be used both days during tour hours, which are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are limited and may be purchased through the Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau at 724-238-5661, extension 18.
Tickets will also be available at the participating Bed and Breakfasts.
A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Great Allegheny Passage, the bike/hike trail.
