The Book Store at Cherry Tree Square (Walmart Plaza) will host a book signing for local author Ceane O’Hanlon-Lincoln for her second book entitled “Autumn Song” from noon to 10 p.m. today. Visitors will have a chance to meet the author and win a copy of her book. Anyone, who wants to purchase the book, can contact O’Hanlon-Lincoln at 724-626-1817 or purchase the book directly from The Book Case in Connellsville or the Book Store at Cherry Tree Square.
Carmichaels Senior Center will sponsor a dance from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. today. Music will be provided by The Best of Times Band. Admission is $5. The senior center is taking reservations for the New Year’s Eve Party. For more information, call 724-966-2290.
The Pittsburgh Symphony Brass will perform at 8:30 p.m. today at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa in Farmington. The performance is part of the resort’s Light Up Night festivities. Ticket for the performance are $15 per person ages 12 and up. Children ages 11 and under are admitted free. To purchase tickets, call toll-free at 1-800-422-2736 or 724-329-8555. Tickets will be available at the door on the night of the performance.
