In brief…
Cal U Singers to perform Fright Field opens
WASHINGTON – Washington Family Entertainment has transformed Falcon Field, home of the Washington Wild Things, into Fright Field, a Halloween Extravaganza.
Fright Field includes a haunted hayride and a scary clown maze. Visitors can catch the hayride, which will travel the baseball field’s warning track, at the picnic area (third base). They will view some “frightening” scenes as they travel the track.
At the first base dugout, the Halloween revelers will exit the hayride and enter a maze with a clown-gone-mad theme.
The hayride and maze are designed for older children and adults, according to Washington Family Entertainment.
However, the group plans to offer a pumpkin patch and other activities that will not frighten younger children.
Fright Field is open to the public today through Sunday.
The event will reopen on Thursday, Oct. 24, through Saturday, Nov. 2, from 6 to 11 p.m.
Admission is $12 and only $10 with the donation of a canned good or non-perishable item to benefit the Greater Washington Food Bank.
