ZooBoo to bring kids spooky Halloween entertainment
ZooBoo, the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium’s annual Halloween spook-tacular runs today through Sunday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Admission gates close at 8:30 p.m. For older children, the Haunted House in the Niches of the World building offers a spooky good time. Activities at Kasper’s Craft Korner, located in Kids Kingdom, will entertain the little ones with crafts and story telling. All children will have a screamingly good time on the Halloween Train Ride and Monster Splash at the PPG Aquarium, featuring costumed characters, music and more.
ZooBoo is a fun-filled and safe family event featuring trick-or-treating and lots of exciting activities for children of all ages. Admission to ZooBoo is $3 for zoo members and $5 for non-members, with children under the age of 2 admitted free. Parking is free.
With the exception of the Train Ride and Carousel, which cost $1 each, all activities are free.
ZooBoo offers free candy and treats from area businesses and organizations such as 7-Eleven, the Pepsi Bottling Company, Sorrento Cheese and the Shriners.
Conveniently accessible from all sides of the city, the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is open every day except Dec. 25.
