‘Second City’ comedy group returns to Pittsburgh this weekend

PITTSBURGH – Their alumni include Bill Murray, Mike Myers and the late Gilda Radner. They gave us “SCTV” and inspired “Saturday Night Live” and “Whose Line Is It Anyway.” And now they’re back, giving Pittsburgh audiences another hilarious weekend as “Second City” returns to the O’Reilly Theater today and Saturday.

The world’s most famous comedy/improv troupe returns to the public for a fifth year with an all-new cast.

Last year’s performances were completely sold out, making it three consecutive years that the shows have been at full capacity.

Performances are 8 p.m. today with 7 and 10 p.m. performances on Saturday.

Before tonight’s show, patrons can will receive complimentary hors d’oeuvres tonight in the O’Reilly lobby beginning at 6 p.m..

Theater seating tickets are $35 and $50, and patrons wishing to reserve a four-seat caf? table next to the stage may do so for $250.
