Sprinkled with country-western music, “Foxfire” takes place in the Appalachian region of Georgia.

It is a warm, touching and humorous story about a widow’s dilemma of whether to remain on the family farm or to accept a developer’s offer to buy her land.

To Annie, the farm also represents a much-wanted final connection to her late husband, Hector, whose ghost continues to guide her daily life. Annie’s country-singer son Dillard has concerns for Annie’s solitude on the mountain, and their relationship creates another dynamic in Annie’s conflict.

“Foxfire” is written by Susan Cooper and Hume Cronyn, with music by Jonathan Holtzman. Director is Chuck Penick. Beverly Price serves as Stage Manager.

Cast members include Penne Steiger as Annie Nations; Rick Sallinger as Hector Nations; Steven J. Truxal Sr. as Prince Carpenter; Bridget Carey as Holly Burrell; Scott Meszar as Dillard Nations; and Jack W. Simon as the doctor.
