The 12th annual Ligonier Ice Fest, featuring about 40 ice sculptures, is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. The sculptures, carved by nationally known artist Ernie DiMartino, will be set up around the town and in front of downtown businesses. Other festivities will include buggy rides around the Diamond, where the Original Kettle Korn Man will be popping his corn. A “Big Band” Concert by Graham Grubb Band will be featured at 2 p.m. in the Ligonier Town Hall. In addition, “indoor sidewalk sales” will be held by area merchants, while area restaurants will add “Ice Fest specialities” to their menus. The annual spaghetti dinner hosted by the Ligonier Volunteer Hose Company No. 1 will be featured Saturday.
