Candlelight ghost tours to spook castle visitors
BROWNSVILLE – The Candlelight Ghost tours will be held March 21-23 and 28-30 from 6 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 6 to 10 p.m. Sundays at Nemacolin Castle along Front Street in Brownsville. Do you believe in ghosts? Walk through the rooms of Nemacolin Castle with a tour guide armed with tales from actual experiences that are said to have happened in the castle. Participants are asked to get to know the spirits who walk the halls and rooms and discover their stories. They can meet members of the Mon Valley Ghost Research Society and see pictures taken by them in the castle all of which have unexplainable abnormalities.
Everyone who visits the castle asks if it is haunted? There were three generations of Bowmans who lived in the castle. Could any of them be caught between the present and the here after? If not, who then walks the halls and rooms when all should be quiet?
Group tours and rates are available.
