local California Area High School’s Class of 2003 will present the musical “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” at 7:30 p.m. today in the high school auditorium. For ticket information, call California Area High School at 724-785-4202.

The Brownsville Area High School Musical and Theatre Department will present the classical musical “Man of La Mancha” today through Sunday. The presentations will be held at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. All shows will be presented in the high school auditorium. Tickets can be purchased by calling 724-785-8200.”Symphony on Wheels” will travel to Pittsburgh on Saturday to attend “A Tribute to Henry Mancini.” The concert will feature Academy Award-winning conductor, Bill Conti, and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as they pay tribute to one of the city’s favorite sons – Henry Mancini. The legendary songwriter has been part of the American soundscape for generations with hits like “Moon River,” “The Peter Gunn Theme” and “The Pink Panther Theme.” The deadline for purchasing tickets for this concert is today. The Timm Biery Band will perform from 10 p.m. today to 2 a.m. Saturday at the Highland House on West Main Street, Uniontown. The band plays a mix of blues, rhythm and blues and blues-based rock. Biery is a world-class drummer who has toured with artists, including Mahogany Rush, Deanna Bogart, Cory Hart, Paul Reed Smith and Danny Gatton. He is currently on hiatus with the Nils Lofgren Band. Other members of the band are Jerry Onesi on bass guitar and vocals, Paulette Schulze on vocals and Eric Schulz on guitar.Sport Card, Nascar and Memorabilia Show will be held today through Sunday at the Uniontown Mall. Elton Martin, keyboardist and vocalist, will perform jazz and pop from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the Heritage Room Restaurant at the Ramada Inn, Morgantown, W.Va.

The Sagebrush Round-Up on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, W.Va., announced its schedule for Saturday. Performing bands will include Buddy Priest & Toney Hayse, Ray Hileman & Wheels of Country, Ruth VanNoy, The Gathers from Oakland, Md., Carolyn Richards and Country Mountaineers. The house band will be Stagecoach. The evening of country music will begin at 6 p.m. with the open stage. The house band backs single acts and new talent. The scheduled portion of the show starts at 7 p.m. and continues until 11 p.m. The Sagebrush Round-Up is located six miles east of Interstate 79 at Exit 139 on Bunner Ridge.
