local Stagecoach to the Stars Productions will perform the play “The Legend of St. Patrick” tonight at Becker’s Shadyside Restaurant, 998 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. followed by the show at 7 p.m. A slightly different version of the same play will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday with brunch served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. “Spiderman” on stage will be presented during a children’s lunch theater program on Saturday and Sunday, March 29-30. The show starts at noon on Saturday, March 29, and 1 p.m. Sunday, March 30. Saturday’s schedule for Sagebrush Round-Up on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, W.Va., features Waynetta Leggett, Mountain Memories, Eileen Smith, Buddy Priest & Tom Hayes and the house band Stagecoach. Country music will start at 6 p.m. with the open stage. Stagecoach backs single acts and new talent. The scheduled portion of the show starts at 7 p.m. and lasts until about 11 p.m. The Sagebrush Round-Up is located just six miles east of Interstate 79 at Exit 139 on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, W.Va. “A Celebration of Quilting in America” will be featured from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (National Quilt Day) at the John D. Rockefeller Vocational School in West Virginia. The Panhandle Piecemakers Quilt Guild, sponsors of the event, invites the public to bring quilts, share ideas, watch others quilt and view quilts in progress as the event unfolds. Coffee and cookies will be served. The John D. Rockefeller Vocational School is located on Route 2 approximately one and a half mile north of New Cumberland, W.Va. Parking is free.
The 22nd annual Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show, which will continued at downtown’s new Pittsburgh Convention Center through Sunday, will feature more than 1,400 exhibits with two levels of company products, services and savings.
