The Fayette County Law Library’s January artist of the month is mosaic and glass artist Charlene Stock of Chalk Hill. Stock’s artwork is on display in the Law Library located on the second floor of the courthouse. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Comedian “Soul” Joel Richardson and Soul Joel Productions will perform at the Uniontown Volunteer Fire Hall tomorrow. The New Trio will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Robert S. Carey Student Center Performing Arts Center on the campus of St. Vincent College, near Latrobe. Members of the trio include Andrew Wan, violin, Patrick Jee, cello and Julio Elizalde, piano. The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra announces its course offerings for the spring term through its Academy of Music, located in the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center. Course offerings include: String Ensemble (Wed., 6:30-8 p.m.) Jan 30-April 24; WYSO Philharmonic (Wed., 6:30-9 p.m.); and Community Strings (Tues., 6:30-8 p.m.). The Belle Vernon Area and Monessen/Rostraver Rotary clubs will hold an oldies dance 8 p.m. to midnight tomorrow at the Rostraver Central Fire Hall, 1100 Fells Church Road, Belle Vernon.
