Get Out and GO! Drake vs. Lil Wayne highlights concert weekend
Local fans will decide the winner as Drake and Lil’ Wayne slug it out Sunday at First Niagara Pavilion, in a friendly competition aimed at crowning “The World’s Greatest Rapper.”
The two rap stars and labelmates will take turns showing who’s got the maddest skills.
They’ll poke fun at each other, too, as indicated by an Indianapolis Star review of last Saturday’s show that pointed out how Lil’ Wayne laid flat on his back and pretended to snooze when Drake sang a ballad.
Later, Drake, 27, took a jab at the recent chart success of Wayne, 31, by advising him to perform some of his hits from “15 years ago.”
Fans who download the Drake vs. Lil Wayne app can vote on that night’s winner. Lil Wayne won the first two nights of the competition.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. Burgettstown show are $45 for the lawn; $51 to $145 for the pavilion.
