The Fayette County Law Library’s “July Artists of the Month” are Marshall and Dylan Berthold of Uniontown, “Paper Crafts.” Their exhibit will be on display through July 30. The law library is located on the second floor of the courthouse. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Admission is free.

The Mount Pleasant Glass Museum is celebrating its first anniversary at Route 31, Mt. Pleasant, (former Lenox factory) is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The museum will feature Rachel Delphia, The Alan G. and Jane A. Lehman Curator of Decorative Arts and Design to speak on the Carnegie Museum’s collection of midwestern glass, 6 p.m. July 17. Area students in grades seven through 12 can join the 304 Photo Club, which will meet twice monthly at Monongalia Arts Center, 101 High St., Morgantown, W.Va. Meetings will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. every other Tuesday. Students taking part in the club, hosted by local photographer David Smith, will learn the basics of digital photography, lighting and composition, as well as more advanced techniques. The Sen. John Heinz History Center presents “Pittsburgh’s Lost Steamboat: Treasures of the Arabia” exhibit featuring more than 2,000 items recovered from the sunken paddle wheel. Carnegie Museum of Art presents Teenie Harris Photographs: Baseball in Pittsburgh takes a look back at the great history of baseball in Pittsburgh. Comprising 25 of the most memorable photographs of the game and its players and never-before-seen 16mm film footage of the Negro League games at Greenlee Field and Forbes Field. The museum is located at 4400 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh. Exhibition on view through Sept. 22. Also featured is “Architecture and Photography”, an exhibit that explores relationship between the two.

The documentary “Great White Shark” is currently featured at the Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh. The IMAX film features unique, slow-motion, underwater images and evolutionary history of the creatures which predate dinosaurs. The 40-minute film dazzles because a uniquely designed camera captured higher resolution images and slow-motion underwater footage than ever before. Jozart Center for the Arts in California will continue the Wine & Line program 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department will present a free Appreciation Night Oldies Dance, 7-11 p.m. July 12 at its recreation and parking complex, 316 Railroad St. The outdoor dance will be a BYOE (Bring Your Own Everything — food, soft drinks and other liquid refreshments) — event. The firemen will sell hamburgers and hot dogs. Disc jockey Ralph Trilli will provide music from the 1950s and early 60s and also songs for line dancing, freestyle and Shag aficionados.
