The Fayette County Law Library’s “November Artist of the Month” is Diane Gambassi: “Treasures in Glass.” Her exhibit will be on display 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Tuesday. The Law Library is located on the second floor of the courthouse. Admission is free.

”Geographika LaFayette” an exhibit of mosaics built by Fayette County native Rachel Sager are on display at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington through Nov. 29 sponsored by Phoenix Arts Center in Uniontown.

”Black Diamonds: The Early Coal Industry of West Virginia” an exhibit at the Watts Museum on the West Virginia University Evansdale Campus explains the late 19th century coal boom in the state and focuses on the physical demands of mining coal in the hand-loading era. The Mount Pleasant Glass Museum (the former Lenox factory) is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Area students in grades seven through 12 can join the 304 Photo Club, which will meet twice monthly at Monongalia Arts Center, 101 High St., Morgantown. Meetings will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. every other Tuesday. Students taking part in the club, hosted by local photographer David Smith, will learn the basics of digital photography, lighting and composition, as well as more advanced techniques. The Sen. John Heinz History Center presents “Pittsburgh’s Lost Steamboat: Treasures of the Arabia” exhibit featuring more than 2,000 items recovered from the sunken paddle wheeler. Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh presents an exhibit by groundbreaking photographer in “Storyteller: The Photographs of Duane Michals.” Born and raised near Pittsburgh in a steelworker family, Duane Michals has been a pioneer since the 1960s when he broke away from established traditions of documentary and fine art photography. On exhibit through Jan. 2015.

The Foster and Muriel McCarl Coverlet Gallery at Saint Vincent College features the exhibit, “Tea and Roses,” 23 coverlets from the McCarl Collection in addition to vintage and antique tea cups and ephemera. Admission is free and open to the public. The exhibit continues through Jan. 23. The Gallery is open from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday evenings. The documentary “Great White Shark” is currently featured at the Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh. The IMAX film features unique, slow-motion, underwater images and evolutionary history of the creatures which predate dinosaurs. The 40-minute film dazzles because a uniquely designed camera captured higher resolution images and slow-motion underwater footage than ever before. Jozart Center for the Arts in California will continue the Wine & Line program 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
