Amy Schumer set to take stage at Consol

By Scott Tady for The 1 min read

Amy Schumer brings her raw, outrageous but spot-on comedy to Consol Energy Center on Saturday.

And to think, in 2014 the “Trainwreck” star was still playing nice but considerably smaller venues like the Carnegie Music Hall of Oakland.

Fresh off a hit HBO stand-up special and a buzz-stirring, nearly naked calendar photo snapped by Annie Leibovitz, Schumer might mention her debut book coming out next year, for which she received the highest advance ever for a female artist from publishing house Simon & Schuster and its subsidiary Gallery Books.

Tickets for her 7 p.m. show are $38 to $142.75.
