A gaming adventure (“Pixels”), a young adult title (“Paper Towns”) and a heavyweight boxing drama (“Southpaw”) are among the titles arriving on this fourth weekend in July.

The films slated to arrive at a theater near you (with all dates highly subject to change and some titles On Demand) include:

Irrational Man,” with Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone and Parker Posey in an R-rated mystery-drama about a college philosophy professor whose midlife crisis results in his interest in a student. Woody Allen directed.

Mad Women,” with Reed Birney, Jamie Harrold, Ashley Blankenship and Kelsey Lynn Stokes in an unrated drama about a mother who commits a crime, goes to prison and then after being released tries to find her place in the world, one populated by overachieving family members. Jeff Lipsky (“Flannel Pajamas”) directed.

Paper Towns,” with Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff in a PG-13 young-adult mystery-romance based on a John Green novel about a guy and some friends who go on a road trip to find a missing girl. Jake Schreier (“Robot & Frank”) directed.

Alex Winter (“Deep Web”) directed.

Southpaw,” with Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams, Forest Whitaker, Curtis (50 Cent) Jackson and Naomie Harris in an R-rated drama about a boxer who fights his way to the top, a trip that destroys the relationships he cares about outside the ring. Kurt Sutter, the creator of the acclaimed FX biker series “Sons of Anarchy,” wrote the script. Antoine Fuqua (“Training Day”) directed.

Unexpected,” with Cobie Smulders and Gail Bean in an R-rated drama about an inner-city high school student who becomes pregnant the same time as her teacher and they form a bond of support. Kris Swanberg (“Empire Builder”) directed.
