Poinsettias and Pointe Shoes, a collaboration between the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Phipps Conservatory, will be held 4:30, 6 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at Phipps Conservatory. The performance will feature selections from “The Nutcracker” and a sneak peek of the winter flower show at Phipps. Tickets for only the 7:30 p.m. performance remain. The Waynesburg University Department of Fine Arts will host an art show entitled “The Art of Collage” through Nov. 11. in the Benedum Fine Arts Gallery. Admission is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.

”Day of the Dead” art exhibition now on display until Nov. 16 at the Vulcan Student Gallery, Vulcan Hall, first floor, California University of Pennsylvania. The exhibition of ceramics, paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints and metalwork revolves around Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead. The exhibit is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

The world premiere of “The Costumes of THE WIZ Live” exhibit at the August Wilson Center, Pittsburgh, through Nov. 30 presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Admission is free.

”Off-Road,” a multidisciplinary exhibit by Sarah Keeling and hosted by The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, will be on view Nov. 18-Jan.22 at 707 Penn Gallery, at 707 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh. Keeling uses images and hand-made objects to explore subtext within the representation of landscape scenes. An opening reception will be held 5:30-8 p.m. Nov. 18.
