Westmoreland Museum of American Art presents “Art in Bloom”
The Westmoreland Museum of American Art is presenting “Art in Bloom” through Sunday.
Visitors will be able to experience new creations by 20 floral designers, all inspired by works of art on view in the museum’s galleries. Prizes will be awarded to the most outstanding displays.
Ed Libby, who is creative director at Nemacolin, will serve as special guest designer. Also, Chef William Racin, baking and pastry instructor for Westmoreland County Community College’s School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, has created a floral design made entirely of sugar, also inspired by a work from the museum’s collection.
The museum’s operating hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. For more information, go online to thewestmoreland.org.
