Cornerstone Care gets $156K grant

U.S. Rep. Mark S. Critz, D-Johnstown, announced recently that Cornerstone Care, based in Greene County, has received a $156,230 grant through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to support the continued operation of health services in southwestern Pennsylvania.

“This federal grant will help give Cornerstone Care the financial assistance needed to continue providing quality and affordable health care to tens of thousands of local patients in southwestern Pennsylvania,” said Critz.

?The funding for this grant comes from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Center Program. Health centers are community-based and patient-directed organizations that serve populations with limited access to health care.
