Paul C. Tomasetti
Paul C. Tomasetti, 59, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, in his home in Waynesburg.
He and his twin brother, Stephen, were the first twins born into the New Year, January 1, 1952, in New England Hospital for Women and Children, Boston, Mass.
Mr. Tomasetti attended Quincy Massachusetts Public Schools.
He was a landlord for the past 29 years.
Mr. Tomasetti was a faithful member of Washington Street United Methodist Church of Waynesburg.
An avid bodybuilder, he was the youngest person to win the Mr. New England title in 1969 at age 17. During that time, he worked at John Decola’s Health Club for Men in Framingham, Mass., as an assistant to the owner and a physical trainer.
He also made and sold custom sandals and was an artist, focusing on oil paintings. He later worked as a hairstylist for Anthony’s Coiffures in Quincy.
In 1977, he moved to Waynesburg, and opened his own beauty salon and health club. In 1982, he converted both into apartments. He purchased more properties and had 10 rental units. Mr. Tomasetti was beloved by his tenants and was considered a wonderful landlord.
Surviving are three brothers, Stephen Tomasetti of Quincy, John Tomasetti of Shutesbury, Mass., and Arthur Tomasetti Jr. of Boston.
Deceased are his parents, Arthur and Viola Tomasetti.
