Elizabeth M. ‘Betty’ Bliss, 68, of Bobtown, Pa., died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her home with her family at her side following a long battle with cancer.

Born October 28, 1942 in Dunkard Township, she was a daughter of the late Mike and Jean Johnson Kohut.

A 1961 graduate of Mapletown High School, she enjoyed playing bingo and especially spending time with her new little granddaughter.

Surviving are her three children, Brian Bliss of Bobtown, Mike Bliss of Dilliner, and Audra Bliss of Fairmont, W.Va.; two grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother Greg Kohut of Bobtown and a sister Sharon Price of Pursglove, W.Va.
