James Milton Brown
James Milton Brown, 81, of Glen Allen, Va., died Sunday, August 7, 2011, in his home.
He was born August 5, 1930, in Jerome, a son of the late Hubert and Nira Fern Merrill Brown.
Mr. Brown was a hospital administrator for Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, and Meyersdale Community Hospital.
He retired from the state of Virginia as a senior auditor.
Mr. Brown was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
He graduated from Waynesburg College.
Mr. Brown was a Shriner.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane Harris Brown; a son, Mark Vincent Brown of Alexandria, Va.; four sisters, Susan Kay Eddy of Waynesburg, Beth Lorine Manson of Grantham, N.H., Mara Lynn McDoland of Miramar, Fla., and Jill Marie Atkinson of Glen Allen; a brother, John Devon Brown of Salisbury; three sisters, Margaret Schrock and Marcia Thomas, both of Meyersdale, and Rayetta Brant of Springs; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Audrainne Horning; and two brothers, Hubert Brown Jr. and Richard Brown.
