Police commend area residents for helping homeless man

Southwest Regional police Chief John D. Hartman said that Greene County residents alerted officers at his police department Monday about an apparent homeless man living under an overpass on I-79 in Perry Township.
He said that what impressed him about the residents that called regarding the man was not the fact that they called but the repeated refrain by residents regarding finding help for the man.
