Walter Graznak
Walter Graznak, age 87, of Greensboro, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 in the Uniontown Hospital with his loving family at his side.
He was born on Saturday, May 3, 1924 the son of John and Eva Graznak in Dunkard Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
Walter served his country during World War II with the 335 2nd Signal Service Battalion of the United States Army in France, Germany, and Italy.
He retired from the West Penn Power Hatfield Station.
He was a lifelong resident of Greene County, where he enjoyed woodworking, farming spending time outdoors, and being with his family above all else.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Walter William “Bill” Graznak; two brothers, Mike Graznak and Ray Graznak; and three sisters Eva Mushinsky, Ann Hall and Kay Beloncis.
Walter is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jane Lincoln Graznak: daughters: Judy Bochan and husband John of Louisville, Kentucky, Margie Rudolph and husband Mike of Greensboro, Janis Nisbet and husband Steven of Savannah, Georgia; one grandson; one granddaughter; five brothers: Joe Graznak, John Graznak, Andy Graznak, Charlie Graznak, Jim Graznak; three sisters, Helen Porter, Rose Rojas, Margaret Graznak; and many nieces and nephews.
