Wanda Jean Courtwright, 69, of Waynesburg, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, from a cancer-related illness.

She was born October 6, 1941, in Cameron, W.Va., a daughter of the late Samuel Edward and Violet Leota Workman Neely, and had been a resident of Greene County since 1959.

Mrs. Courtwright enjoyed baking and watching professional wrestling.

On August 8, 1959, she married Raymond Encil Courtwright, who survives.

Also surviving are six daughters; a son; a sister and a brother; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a son who died at birth.
