Clyde Thorne, 83, of Carmichaels, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.

Mr. Thorne was born February 13, 1928, in Greene County, a son of the late Charles and Myrtle Rogers Thorne.

Deceased is his wife, Ellen Thorne.

Surviving are five children, Michele Robinson of Carmichaels, Nina Wyatt of Chambersburg, Kathy Myers of Carmichaels, Becky Brigode of Carmichaels and Betty Thorne of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Elmer Thorne of Connellsville and Leroy Thorne of Dunbar.

In addition to his parents and wife, deceased are two brothers, Marion Thorne and Edward Thorne.
