DOG SHOW – The annual Mountaineer and South Hills Kennel Clubs Dog Show will be held at the county fairgrounds through June 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event will feature indoor and outdoor show rings, Obedience held Friday through Sunday, and “Meet the Breeds” on Saturday at noon. FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED – The 6th annual Purple Martin Festival will take place at the Mason-Dixon Park in Mt. Morris on June 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival will feature two purple martin houses and one gourd rack. Participants will have the opportunity to see baby martins in various stages of development. SCHOOL REUNION – The 13th annual Brave School Reunion will be held on Saturday, June 25 at the fire hall in Brave, starting at 1 p.m. Bring hot dogs, buns, a covered dish and soft drinks. Table service and condiments will be provided. Everyone is welcome.

BRAVE HOMECOMING – Come to the Brave Homecoming at Kent’s United Methodist Methodist Church in Brave for their 100th Anniversary on Sunday, June 26. Church Service is at 11:30 a.m., covered dish dinner at 12:45 p.m. and music at 2 p.m. During the day, there will be a recognition of previous Homecoming Queens and Princesses.

REUNION ANNOUNCED – The 110th Cole, Phillips, Tustin, White and King Reunion will be held at the Waynesburg First Church of the Nazarene on June 26, beginning at 1 p.m. Bring covered dish, drink and item for White Elephant sale. Paper plates, silverware, cups and coffee will be provided.

PHOTO CLUB – The next meeting of the Greene County Photography Club will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 at the Waynesburg Bible Chapel. The club competition this month is wildlife. The program will be on photo file management. New members are always welcome.

FREE CONCERT – As part of the Waynesburg Lions Club’s 20th annual “4th of July Celebration” at the county fairgrounds, Heaven Bound Ministries Inc. will present the free patriotic music concert, “Let Freedom Ring,” at 7:30 p.m. Heaven Bound Ministries is comprised of 50-plus vocalists, greeters, ushers and sound/stage crew members. FAMILY REUNION – The Clutter/Ealy Family Reunion will be held on Sunday, July 10 at Prosperity Park. Lunch will be served at noon. Hot dogs, chicken and drinks will be provided. Please bring a covered dish. Donations will be accepted for future reunions. Games will be provided for youths.
