Spring Overnight Visitation to provide high school seniors unique opportunity

2 min read

Waynesburg University will host a Spring Overnight Visitation for high school seniors Sunday, March 20 through Monday, March 21. The visitation gives prospective students the opportunity to experience student life while interacting with university students. Check-in will be held in Miller Hall at 4:30 p.m.

The Spring Overnight Visitation provides an opportunity for high school seniors to experience the university and all it has to offer in a unique way. Upon arrival, prospective students will be paired with a Waynesburg University student who will serve as their overnight host. Participants will be given an inside look at the residence halls, academic programs, student life and campus facilities.

“The Spring Overnight Visitation gives a prospective student the opportunity to get a glimpse into the life of a Waynesburg student. There is no better way to know if a college is for you than by spending the night with current students, sitting in on classes and experiencing daily life in general,” said Katie White, senior admissions counselor at Waynesburg University.

Participants will have the opportunity to observe classes related to their potential areas of study and meet with students and faculty in their intended majors. A variety of activities will be offered to event participants including a game night, pizza party and ice cream social.

White said the university looks forward to helping prospective students make the important decision about where they will choose to go to college.
