Helen ‘Merle’ Deems Onesko
Helen ‘Merle’ Deems Onesko, 82, of Hibbs, Pennsylvania passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Uniontown.
She was born on Saturday, November 10, 1928 in Greene County, the daughter of Francis Deems and Edith Everhart Deems.
Merle was a member of the Hopewell United Presbyterian Church and also The Five Hundred Bid Card Club.
She graduated from German Township High School, Class of 1946.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-two years, John Onesko; her son-in-law, Mario Tiberi; two brothers and one sister, Clifford L. Ruth, Doris Irene Skoda and William Robert Deems.
She is survived by three daughters and one son, Cheryl L. Kifus and her husband John of Willoughby, Ohio, Barbara J. Tiberi of Uniontown, Janice L. Plisko and her husband Kenneth of Hibbs and Phillip R. Onesko of Front Royal, Virginia; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
