Tri-County South names all-stars
As expected, conference champion Beth-Center dominated the Tri-County South football conference all-star team. Bulldogs coach Ed Woods was named conference Coach of the Year and 10 of his players were named to the squad.
Beth-Center’s all-conference selections were Deshan Brown, Cody Durant, Gino Faieta, Sal Faieta, Zach Holmes, Zach Miller, C.J. Novak, Matt Riggle, Roberto Roux and Jake Sofran.
Monessen, California and Frazier tied for second, each placing eight on the all-conference team. Representing California were Tyler Conway, Skyler Dickinson, Dylan Gaskill, Dylan Hunter, Lester McGriff, Boyd Stinnett, Beau Wood and Brendan Wright. Frazier’s all-conference players were Jaime Fell, Tony Kudyba, Ben Layhew, Charlie Manack, Kyle Rodriguez, Tim Schragl, Rock Vargo and Matt West.
Representing Jefferson-Morgan were John Beattie, Jeffery Blaker, Tyler Bowman, Dustin Conti, Jesse Jento and Joe Phillips, while Carmichaels placed Sheldon Chun, Nick Clarke, Michael Mays, Brennen McMinn and Josh Mundell. For Mapletown, it was Sam Cossick, Kyle Gray, Tyler Kamenos and Michael Rumble. Geibel Catholic landed Michael Noonan, Santo Piccolomini and Jay Yourish and West Greene placed Wade Durbin and Matthew Johnston.
