Items stolen
Jerry Michael of Dilliner told police that someone broke into his home on Crooked Run Road in Dunkard Twp. and stole a shotgun and money between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 27, state police said.
Vandalism reported
State police said vandals damaged property owned by Harold King of Waynesburg on Maple Hill Road in Franklin Twp. at 5 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.
Vehicle damaged
William Fisher of Uniontown reported that vandals damaged his car while it was parked in a lot in Franklin Twp. between 10 p.m. Sept. 27 and 1 a.m. Sept. 28, state police said.
Man cited
State police said James Roberts Jr., 23, of Waynesburg was cited for harassment following an alleged altercation with Hope Baker, 21, also of Waynesburg, at a residence on Locust Ave. in Franklin Twp. at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25.
Man charged
Duane R. Hughes, 46, of Dilliner was charged with fleeing and eluding police and drunken driving following a traffic stop on Walnut Hill Road in Dunkard Twp. at 11 p.m. Sept. 25, state police said. According to reports, Hughes fled from police and a pursuit ensued; after his vehicle was stopped and he was taken into custody, Hughes was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was driving on a DUI suspended license, police said. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Lou Dayich and placed in Greene County Jail in lieu of $15,000 straight cash bond, police said.
ATV stolen
State police said a 2007 Honda 450 R all-terrain vehicle belonging to Michael Stevens of Holbrook was stolen from the front yard of his residence on Blockhouse Road in Gilmore Twp. sometime between Sept. 24 and Sept. 29. The ATV is black in color with a red frame. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.
Vehicle scratched
Kimberly Rohm of Wind Ridge told state police that someone scratched the left rear portion of her vehicle with an unknown object while it was parked on Farrell Ave. in Richhill Twp. at 8 p.m. Sept. 28.
