Jewelry stolen
State police said sometime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 10 someone entered Harley Gapen’s residence on Turkey Knob Road in Greene Twp. and stole $5,000 worth of jewelry. The investigation is ongoing.
Charges filed
State police said summary charges of harassment were filed against Dale Deyell, 40, of Amity following an altercation with Joshua Bolz, 27, of Waynesburg at a residence in Wayne Village, Franklin Twp., at 6:15 p.m. Oct. 9.
Boots stolen
State police said sometime between 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Oct. 10 someone entered Charles Grim’s residence on School Bus Road in Dunkard Twp. and stole two pairs of size 9 ½ boots.
Items stolen
Judy Marie Streit of Waynesburg told state police that sometime between 7 and 7:35 p.m. Oct. 8 someone stole her wallet and prescription medicine from her her purse while she was at the Norge Village Laundromat in Franklin Twp.
Mailbox missing
Theresa Anne Rowe of Clarksville reported to state police that sometime between Oct. 8-10 someone stole her metal mailbox along Marianna Road in Morgan Twp.
Fence damaged
State police said sometime between Oct 5-6 someone used a stolen CAT forklift to damage a fence at a location in Mt. Morris. The suspects then abandoned the forklift and fled the scene. The forklift and damaged property belong to L&T Supply of Mt. Morris. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.
Crash reported
State police said Megan E. Church, 16, of Waynesburg was traveling on Pitcock Run Road in Whiteley Twp. at 6:40 p.m. Oct. 8 when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a fence. Church was not injured, police said.
