Robert L. Rutan, 51, of Waynesburg, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

He was born August 21, 1960, in Waynesburg, a son of Richard Rutan of Waynesburg and the late Wilma Temple Rutan.

For the past five years, he worked as a technician for Stahura Conveyor Products. He was previously employed as a mechanic for Greenway Manufacturing and Flushing Shirt Factory.

He was a lifelong resident of the Waynesburg area, where he was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 461.

Mr. Rutan loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are a daughter, Heather D. Rutan of Waynesburg; two grandsons, Austin Tyler Hunt and Javin Lee Hunt; and two brothers, Richard Rutan Jr. (Loretta) of Carmichaels and Thomas Rutan of Waynesburg.
