Rose Marie Thomas, 89, of Waynesburg and most recently of LaFayette Manor, Uniontown, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011.

She was born January 31, 1922, in New Salem, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Harris Moore.

Mrs. Thomas was a retired housekeeper at Waynesburg College.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Paul Thomas; sisters Josephine Labiak, Pauline Musial and Eleanor Moore; and brothers Anthony, Frank, Mario and Joseph Moore.

Surviving are daughters Joann Olesko and husband Albert of Republic and Sandra Thomas of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren; seven great-grandsons; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Gertrude Bartolovich of Waynesburg; and many nieces and nephews.
