WCCC Late-Start Classes begin Sept. 15
Westmoreland County Community College is offering a Late-Start session of credit classes with some beginning Sept. 15 for students who were unable to enroll when the regular fall semester began.
The schedule provides an opportunity for students to complete a full semester of 12 credits in 12 weeks, although some classes are shorter term. Students also have the option of attending part-time and taking just one or two classes.
?Class start dates range from Sept. 15 through mid-December. Late-Start classes are scheduled days and evenings and will be conducted at the Youngwood campus as well as online.
Some classes are available at the Indiana County and New Kensington education centers.
Classes are offered in the areas of accounting; allied health; art; biology; business; computers; criminal justice; economics; education; electronics; English; food service; geography; graphic design; history; health; mathematics; music; office technology; personal development; phlebotomy; reading; real estate; sociology; and speech.
The classes are worth from one to three credits each, depending on the course. Tuition for Westmoreland County students is $80 per credit.
