Mary Elizabeth (Scharler) Batya
Mary Elizabeth (Scharler) Batya, 82, of Uniontown passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, September 8, 2011 in her home.
She was born May 18, 1929 in Nemacolin, the daughter of the late Peter Scharler and Wilfreda Holzer Scharler.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Uniontown.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Emory Paul Batya; a brother, Rev. Peter John Scharler and wife Nancy of Uniontown; and four nephews.
