WCCC to hold Open House Oct. 1

Westmoreland County Community College will hold an open house Saturday, Oct. 1 at 8:30 a.m. in Founders Hall at the Youngwood Campus.

Designed for prospective students and their parents, the open house will provide information on WCCC’s 65 programs of study, financial aid, admissions process, career counseling, career placement services, tutoring, child care and student life and athletics. Faculty, staff and students will be available to answer questions.

The college will accept applications for the spring and fall 2012 semesters. The $15 fee will be waived for those who complete the admissions application during the open house.

WCCC was recently ranked 40th among the nation’s colleges with the lowest net pricing by the U.S. Department of Education.
