Loretta Jean Pecjak, 64, of Crucible, died Friday morning, April 20, 2012, in Washington Hospital, after a brief illness.

She was born July 5, 1947, in Franklin Township, Greene County, daughter of the late Charles and Edwina Jean Volchko Jolliffe.

Mrs. Pecjak resided in Crucible most of her life and was Methodist.

She worked as a food preparer at Caputo’s Dry Tavern Inn for 23 years.

Mrs. Pecjak enjoyed homemaking, cooking, flower gardening, craftwork, making candy at Christmastime and camping with her grandchildren. She was a cherished wife, mother and grandmother.

On July 5, 1967, she married Ralph D. Pecjak, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, David D. Pecjak of Crucible; a daughter, Sue Lynn Pecjak, at home; two grandchildren; two brothers, Warren K. Jolliffe of Waynesburg and Charles T. Jolliffe of Carmichaels; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a son, Kenneth Lee Pecjak.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
