Louise JoAnn Denny, 66, of Jefferson, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, in her home, from cardiac health issues.

She was born May 10, 1946, in Castile, Greene County, a daughter of the late Edward Sr. and Hazel Pyle Burnfield.

Mrs. Denny was a 1965 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and had attended Jefferson Church of the Nazarene.

She was a home person, who enjoyed her children and grandson and just spending time with her family.

On August 28, 1965, she married Gerald C. Denny, who survives.

Also surviving are three children, Lisa Joan Denny Crosier and husband William of East Washington, Michael Todd Denny and wife Diana of Carmichaels and Kenneth Brian Denny of Jefferson; a grandson; a sister, Shirley Riley and husband John of Waynesburg; and two brothers, Ernest Burnfield and wife Janet of Waynesburg and Ronald Burnfield Sr. and wife Shirley of Waynesburg.

Deceased are four brothers, Arthur Burnfield, Edward Burnfield Jr., William Burnfield and Francis Burnfield, who died in infancy, and two sisters, Geraldine Taylor and Naomi Haring.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Greene County Humane Society, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
