By For The Greene County Messenger 1 min read

State police are investigating two robbery incidents that occurred this past week in Greene County.

Police said someone held up Muhly’s Little Store in Clarksville on Nov. 27 at around 7:12 p.m. According to reports, the suspect brandished a gun and demanded money; after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk, the suspect then fled the business.

A description of the suspect was not available from police.

State police are also investigating an attempted robbery of a Rices Landing woman at an automated teller machine in Jefferson Township on Sunday evening.

Police said Kimberly Doman was in her car and was attempting to make a withdrawal from the First National Bank ATM on Route 88 at 7:20 p.m. when the man approached her open window brandishing a handgun.

Doman told officers that the man demanded cash and her cell phone. Instead, investigators said Doman drove her car from the scene and then called police. She was not injured, police said.

The suspect was wearing a camouflage shirt, ski mask, a black vest and gloves, police said.

Anyone with information regarding either of these incidents is asked to call state police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
