Albert Joseph Wade
Albert Joseph “Abbie” Wade, 80, of Bobtown, passed away peacefully Friday, February 24, 2012, in his home, with his loving family and friends by his side.
He was born November 11, 1931, in Dilliner, son of the late Bennie and Jennie Bowlby Wade.
Mr. Wade was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church and Holy Name Society of Bobtown.
He was a 1950 graduate of DePaul School for the Deaf of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Wade was formerly employed with Massullo’s Cleaners in Morgantown, W.Va., for 22 years.
He was a member of Bobtown Rod and Gun Club, Bobtown Polish Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1932 of Point Marion.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Asa Wade, who died in 1991.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Cathy Hughes Wade; a son, Jay Wade and wife Tracey of Carmichaels; a daughter, Jamie Wade Bate and husband Scott of Carmichaels; a grandson, Aydan Bate; a granddaughter, Paxton Wade; and several nieces and nephews.
Twin Oaks Home Care and Amedisys Hospice Services had given him special care.
