Arlene Mabel Goslin
Arlene Goslin of Beckley, W.Va., passed away Friday, February 24, 2012.
She was born in Dille, Nicholas County, W.Va., daughter of the late James and Maude Walker Wilson.
Mrs. Goslin graduated from Waynesburg High School. She attended the Baltimore Institute Secretarial School in Baltimore, Md., where she lived and worked for 35 years.
During World War II, she was a defense worker for Crown, Cork and Seal Co.
She was a member of Southern Baptist Church, where she was active in the Sunday school and choir.
In 2005, she became a Golden Star Member of Brecht Chapter 43 of Order of the Eastern Star in Dundalk, Md.
Surviving is a son, Earl J. Barnes of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Billie Throckmorton (Fred) of Waynesburg and Eunice Clark (Bob) of Sun City, Ariz.; a brother, Don Wilson (Nancy) of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Dorthy Granlee and Sylvia Marriner Mathieson, and two brothers, Dorman Wilson and Orland Wilson.
