Jo Carol Stansberry
Jo Carol Stansberry, 69, of Little Falls, Morgantown, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born December 6, 1942, in Fairmont, W.Va., daughter of the late Joseph and Maxine Kisner.
Mrs. Stansberry was a homemaker and was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed playing cards and making latch-hook rugs, and she loved her dog, Mookie.
She graduated from East Fairmont High School, married and then relocated to Ruff Creek, where she lived for nearly 40 years. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling but ultimately returned home to be closer to her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Arley Fred Stansberry of Little Falls, W.Va.; a daughter, Deneta Rickard, and a son, Rick Stansberry and wife Anna, both of Waynesburg; sisters Connie Tennant and husband Tom of Lexington, N.C., and Donna Stansberry and husband Denver and Linda Swisher, all of Morgantown; a brother, Larry Kisner and wife Donna of Morgantown; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a brother, Terry Kisner.
