Vehicle damaged
Vandals damaged a vehicle owned by Charles J. Merlo Inc. of Mineral Point while it was parked on Waterdam Road in Franklin Twp. between Feb. 23 and Feb. 27, state police said.
Tires stolen
State police said wheels and tires owned by Solomon’s Auto of Monongahela Twp. were stolen from a 2012 Dodge truck that was parked at the business between 3:30 p.m. Feb. 25 and 11 a.m. Feb. 26.
Door damaged
Edward J. Moses Jr. of Export told state police that someone damaged the door of his mobile home on Herrods Run Road in Springhill Twp. at 10:50 p.m. Feb. 27. Damage was estimated at $200, police said.
Theft reported
State police said sometime between 5 p.m. Feb. 24 and 8 a.m. Feb. 26 someone stole an electric space heater and an electric saw from a construction site on Country Club Road in Morgan Twp. The stolen items belong to Nokomis Inc.
Sign shattered
State police said sometime between 6 p.m. Feb.26 and 9 a.m. Feb. 28 someone shattered a sign in front of the First Assembly of God Church in Waynesburg. The church estimates the damage to be in excess of $1,000, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact state police at 724-627-6151.
Driver injured
State police said Deborah White, 44, of Mather was traveling on Havers Hill Road in Jefferson Twp. at 9:44 a.m. March 2 when she swerved to avoid hitting an animal on the road, causing her to impact the guide rail and disable the vehicle. White suffered minor injuries in the accident, police said. Police were assisted at the scene by Jefferson Volunteer Fire Dept.
