Joanne T. Gabeletto, 76, of Nemacolin, died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, in Uniontown Hospital.

She was born September 13, 1935, in Nemacolin, daughter of the late Frank Albert and Anna Clay Tomko.

Mrs. Gabeletto was a 1953 graduate of Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels and resided in Cumberland Township most of her life.

She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Nemacolin, where she was a former choir member.

Mrs. Gabeletto served as president of Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Company Women’s Auxiliary and worked as a seamstress at Greenway Manufacturing for 16 years.

Surviving are two sons, Michael G. Gabeletto and wife Rose of Nemacolin and Frank Mark Gabeletto and wife Candace of Canonsburg; a daughter, Nicole Gabeletto of Seattle, Wash.; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are five brothers and four sisters.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Greene County Humane Society, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
