Betty J. Bialko
Betty J. Bialko, 86, of Nemacolin, died Monday, March 12, 2012, in Nemacolin, following a lengthy illness.
She was born August 3, 1925, in Georges Township, Fayette County, daughter of the late Samuel James and Rose Catherine Miller Buttermore.
Mrs. Bialko resided in Nemacolin since 1972.
She worked in housekeeping for Carmichaels Clinic for 23-and-a-half years.
Mrs. Bialko enjoyed polka dancing and traveling and was a supporter of Greene County Humane Society, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Easter Seal Society and the American Diabetes Foundation.
She was Baptist.
On July 15, 1950, she married Frank A. “Bingo” Bialko, who died December 28, 1991.
Surviving are son Frank A. Bialko of Waynesburg; daughter Lori S. Bialko of Nemacolin; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother William S. Buttermore and wife Jo of Dania, Fla.; and son-in-law William Kerr of Lorain, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are daughter Rosemary Kerr; a brother Robert E. Buttermore; and two sisters, Tillie M. Jordan and Mary V. Phillips.
